What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file saved by your browser when you visit a website. It can, for example, remember a choice, secure a login, or count visits. The broader term “trackers” refers to technologies that play the same role, such as your browser’s local storage.
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work can be used without your consent. All others, in particular analytics and advertising cookies, are only set once you have given your consent, as required by European and Belgian privacy rules.
How your choice is applied
On your first visit, the CookieScript banner asks for your consent. It is loaded by Google Tag Manager, the tool that manages the site’s tags, before any analytics or advertising tag.
Your choice is then passed on to Google’s tools through Consent Mode v2. Until you make a choice, the site applies these default settings:
analytics_storage, analytics: denied;ad_storage, advertising cookies: denied;ad_user_data, sending data to Google for advertising purposes: denied;ad_personalization, ad personalization: denied;functionality_storageandsecurity_storage, site functionality and security: granted, because they are essential.
Until you accept, Google Analytics and Google Ads neither set nor read cookies. They may, however, send Google technical signals without cookies or identifiers (for example, the fact that a page was viewed), which Google uses to produce aggregate estimates. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the Change my preferences button.
Strictly necessary cookies
Always active, they are used for site security, for protecting forms against spam, and for remembering your choice. They are not used for analytics or advertising.

Analytics (with your consent)
Google Analytics 4 tells me how many people visit the site, which pages they view, where they come from (Google search, an ad, a link from another site, etc.), what type of device they use, and certain interactions such as clicks to other sites. These statistics help improve the pages and show which ones really help visitors.

To block Google Analytics on all websites, Google also offers a browser opt-out add-on (opens in a new tab).
Advertising (with your consent)
One of the ways I promote my business is through Google Ads. With your consent, the cookies below show whether an ad led to you getting in touch (a click on the phone number, a request sent, an appointment booked), without me knowing who you are. If you also accept personalization, Google can use this information to tailor the ads it shows you.

What sets no cookies
- Typefaces are hosted on the site’s server: no request is sent to Google Fonts or to any other font service.
- The site itself sets no cookies on its visitors’ devices: its only first-party cookie is reserved for the administration area. It only uses your browser’s storage if you ask the assistant to prepare a quote: your project (never your contact details) is kept there just long enough to open the form, then deleted.
- The “Chat” assistant runs in your browser with no third-party service: it sets no cookies and doesn’t send your questions.
- Google Tag Manager loads the tags described above, but doesn’t set any cookies itself.
- Links to Facebook, WhatsApp, or Google Maps don’t load any content from these services until you click them.
Some technical providers (hosting, delivery) do, however, process connection data such as your IP address to display the site to you. They are listed in the privacy policy.
Adjusting your browser settings
In addition to the banner, your browser lets you view and delete stored cookies, block third-party cookies, or browse in private mode. These settings are usually found under “Privacy” or “Cookies” in your browser settings. If you delete this site’s cookies, the banner will ask for your choice again on your next visit.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about cookies
Declining, changing your mind, the assistant, forms: the essentials in a few answers.
Does the site still work if I decline cookies?
Yes. The pages, the quote and contact forms, and appointment booking all work without analytics or advertising cookies. Declining doesn’t change the way your request is handled.
How can I change my choice later?
On this page, use the “Change my preferences” button: the cookie banner opens and you can change your choice. You can withdraw your consent as easily as you gave it.
Does the “Chat” assistant set cookies?
No. It’s downloaded from this site only when you click the “Chat” button and answers in your browser, with no third-party service: it sets no cookies and doesn’t send your questions. If you ask it to prepare a quote, it keeps your project (never your contact details) in your browser’s session storage just long enough to open the form, then deletes it.
What is Google Consent Mode?
It’s the mechanism that passes your choice on to Google’s tools (Analytics and Ads). By default, analytics and advertising are turned off. Without your consent, these tools neither set nor read cookies; they may send Google technical signals without identifiers, which are used only for aggregate estimates.
Do the quote and contact forms use cookies?
They don’t set any first-party cookies. To block automated submissions (spam), they use hCaptcha, which only loads when you start filling out a form or open appointment booking.
How long is my choice kept?
Your choice is stored in a CookieScript banner cookie, for the period set in the banner’s configuration. If you delete your browser’s cookies or switch devices, the banner will ask for your consent again.
