Tristan Tacule, web developer in Hainaut

I trained in web development at BeCode and have worked as a full-stack PHP developer ever since. After several agency and freelance projects, I now help independent professionals and small businesses build their websites, which I prefer to custom-code: from a simple business website to a booking platform.

How much does a website cost?

Prices start at €599 excl. VAT for a custom-coded business website, €999 excl. VAT for a custom web application, and €2,499 excl. VAT for an online store, custom-coded or built on Bagisto (Laravel). These prices include building and launching the site, and training on how to use it. Hosting and domain name: €120 excl. VAT per year, extra, for a business website or a web app; included for the first year for an online store. The exact price depends on your project: it’s set out in a free quote, before you commit to anything.

How long does it take to build my website?

Typically, allow 2–3 weeks for a custom-coded business website and 2–4 weeks for an online store. The exact timeline depends on the features and on when your content (text, photos, logo) is ready: it’s stated in the quote. For a custom web application (online booking, client portal…), the timeline is set in the quote, depending on the project.

Who provides the text and photos for the site?

You know your business better than anyone: you provide your text, photos, and logo. I add them to the site, format them, and advise you so they’re clear to your visitors and well understood by Google. If some content is missing, we’ll discuss it during the discovery call to find a solution.

Do I own the website once it’s finished?

Your content and your domain name belong to you. The ownership terms for the site itself (code, licenses for third-party themes and plugins) are set out in the quote. If you ever want to switch providers, I’ll give you the access you need.

How much do hosting and the domain name cost?

For a business website or a custom web app, hosting and the domain name cost €120 excl. VAT per year, extra. For an online store, they’re included for the first year, then renew every year at the price stated in your quote. If you’d like, I can also maintain your site: €50 excl. VAT per hour, or an annual plan at €500 excl. VAT per year.

Will my site rank well on Google?

Every site is built to be well understood by Google: heading structure, text, loading speed, and mobile display. Your ranking also depends on your content and on the competition in your industry: no one can honestly guarantee the top spot. Additional optimization can be included in the quote.

How does payment work?

By bank transfer, on invoice. My services are billed by Productions Associées asbl, the organization my business operates under (company number BE 0896.755.397); the prices shown exclude VAT. Payment terms are set out in the quote.

Do you only work in Hainaut?

No. I serve La Louvière, Binche, Soignies, Mons, Charleroi, Braine-le-Comte, Nivelles, Tubize, Ath, Enghien, Louvain-la-Neuve, Brussels, and Liège, and I also work remotely. Meetings are easy by video call (Google Meet) or by phone, so I can support businesses anywhere in Belgium.
